The Artists

John Wilson: Masterclass: Australian Landscape in Oils,
John is a highly respected and sought-after artist/tutor & is one of Australia’s leading oil painters, and a multi-award-winning artist

Gordon Rossiter: Paint the Rocks
Gordon’s aim is to capture the feeling of a place at the time he was there, not to photographically reproduce a painting, & hopefully the viewer will connect with the scene this way

Robert Lovett: Watercolour, Simple & loose
Robert will deal with this most common problem encountered by watercolourists. Even advanced students struggle with simplification and directness. If you are a beginner what a great way to start by developing good techniques from the beginning

The McCanns: “Representational Art in Acrylics”
Acrylics are not usually associated with representational art because of the speed in which they dry. Learn how Barry controls the drying time of the medium to not only obtain an oil-like look to his work but a likeness. The workshop will cover such topics as drawing, how to get a likeness, the application of paint and colour mixing. Their patience and individual attention will guarantee an enjoyable experience.
