For most bookings, we can offer you an easy, interest free payment plan. Think of it like laybying your holiday! We just split the full amount in to smaller, affordable amounts and take that amount out of your credit card on the first of every month. For example: Full amount for Christmas Holidays $1503, and you book in March, so you pay $150.30 per month, for 10 monthly payments…easy to budget, and all paid by the 1st of December, just in time to buy the kids Christmas presents!!
Are payment plans only available for Christmas Bookings?
No, any holiday that is over $400 we can offer a payment plan. All you need is a credit or debit card.
How can I pay the balance of my booking?
It will be automatically taken out of your credit card as per your authority at the time of booking.
BIG4 Perks. What benefits do I get and can I join at reception?
BIG4 members receive a 10% discount (up to $50) for stays in BIG4 Parks Australia Wide. Discounts also apply to equipment hire within the resort. Membership is $50 for 2 years & we can assist you in joining when you book online or over the phone, or when you arrive for your stay.
I am an NRMA member, does that entitle me to a discount?
Sorry, no. Some of the BIG4 Parks are also owned by the NRMA, our resort is not one of those.
Can I use my parents BIG4 Perks membership?
Sorry, no. Your Big4 Membership card is for you and your partner only
Do you have a cafe/ restaurant onsite?
Yes! The Full Circle Eatery is now next to reception (Tel: 02 6566 5730). Opening hours vary depending on the time of year but they are generally open every day (except Monday & Tuesday) for breakfast & lunch, and then for dinner also on weekends. They do a great cup of coffee and home-made cakes, along with take-away burgers and fresh fish. Check out their Facebook page here.
What are Check In and Check Out times?
Check in time for all sites and accommodation is 2pm. Check out time is 10am for all sites and accommodation. A late checkout of 2pm can be arranged at 50% of nightly tariff (subject to availability). There are no late checkouts or early check in’s in the school holidays, sorry.
Can we stay & play for the day?
Yes! We know the kids always want “one more slide mum!” so we offer the option to check out of your villa or site at 10am and then stay and use all of the facilities for the day until 4pm – this costs $40 for the day
What time does reception open and close?
Open every day from 8am (9am Public holidays). Generally we close at 6pm (refer to notice @ reception for Peak & Off Season hours)

Who do I contact if I require assistance relating to my villa or site?

Do you have a security gate?
Yes, to ensure the safety of all guests.
I’m going to be late, how do I get my keys / security gate code?
There is a key box safe to the right of reception door; we will put an envelope in there with your name on it with instructions as to how to get your code and keys.
Do you have Internet facilities within the Resort?
Yes, NET4 is available for FREE!! 500MB per device per day. Let us know on check in how many devices you have and we will provide you with usernames for each one.
Do you have a Kids Club
Yes! We run Kids Club on a Monday & Friday from 10.30-11.30 all year round (excl Public holidays) and an awesome Kids Club Program every day of the School holidays – find out more here
Do you have things for kids to do?
Where do we start!!!! Shipwreck Island Water Park, massive undercover jumping pillow, 2 playgrounds, tiny town, trampoline, putt putt, ½ court tennis, games room, movie room, go-karts, canoes, air hockey, pool table….and more!!!!
What hire equipment do you have in the resort?
We have Go Karts, 1 seat kayaks, 3 seat canoes, inflatable SUP boards, Adult bikes, bike carriage, teen & small children’s bikes. Find out what’s available here.
Is there any equipment available for free?
Use of Putt Putt golf, tennis & volley ball equipment is free and we also have a large range of free DVDs and board games to choose from at reception.
Can I bring my boat?
Of course, but you may need to book a “pay parking” site to fit it on. Please contact reception, who can also advise you on boat ramps and fishing sites in the area.
Can the kids ride bikes and scooters in the Resort?
Yes! Electric Scooters & Skateboards (or similar type items) are NOT permitted however. They need to wear a helmet at all times – No helmet No ride.
Do you have a pool & is it heated?
Yes, solar heated. Solar heating will only heat the water to the same temperature as the ambient air. Bring the kids wetsuits in the winter!
Do you have a baby / toddler pool?
Yes, and Shipwreck Island has a baby slide in to very shallow water.
Where are the closest shops?
We have a kiosk with basic necessities. Town is less than 5 minutes’ drive and Coles is less than 10 minutes away.
Where are the closest Restaurants?
See above! We have The Full Circle Eatery beside reception which is all you will ever need! Town is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the Resort. The country club and Trial Bay kiosk are 2 minutes’ drive.
What time does noise have to cease in the resort?
As we are a family resort, we ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 10pm for the comfort of our guests.
Do you allow open fires within the resort?
Yes, we do! All fires must be elevated off the ground and contained in a brazier or similar fire vessel. Fire regulations must be adhered to at all times. We also have a large fire pit available for the use of all guests from May to September
Can my friends come and visit me in the resort?
Guests are welcome at management’s discretion. Should your guests be staying for less than an hour, there is no charge. We also cater for paid day visitors for the full use of the resort. Please see reception for current day visitor rates and access codes for visitors.
We loved the children’s facilities in the resort. Can we have our child’s birthday party here?

Where is the closest boat ramp?
The nearest Boat Ramp is at the Gaol (less than 2km away) – ask our reception staff on arrival to direct you.
Are there any fish cleaning facilities within the resort?
Sorry, but we do not have any fish cleaning facilities within the resort. You will find fish cleaning benches beside the boat ramps at the Macleay River and Back Creek.
Where is the closest beach?
We are just a few minutes’ drive to Main beach, Horseshoe Bay or Trial Bay beach, or a short 12-minute walk through the National park to the pristine Trial Bay Beach which is great for young kids.
Where is the closest Airport?
Port Macquarie Airport is approximately a 1-hour drive South of South West Rocks. Coffs Harbour Airport is approx 1.5hours drive North of South West Rocks.
Are pets allowed in the resort?
We welcome small dogs in the resort outside of school holidays, long weekends and public holidays. Keeping in mind, all pets do need to be registered at reception and have the managers approval prior to arrival. We have specific powered grass sites, ensuite sites and villas available that are pet friendly
Do you cater for group bookings?

Questions about your Villa Booking
Do I need to bring bedding or linen?
No, this is supplied in all of our villa, studio, cottage and Lodge accommodation. Bath towels are also supplied, so you just need to bring Pool & beach towels.
Which of your Villas can I fit a porta cot in?
All of them will fit the cot in the living area but if you want it in the bedroom, the Kookaburra Villas 1-3 will fit it in the 2nd bedroom & villas 5-7 in the main bedroom. Our Lagoon Luxury Retreats (19-22 & 27) will fit the porta cot in the 2nd bedroom & it will fit in all bedrooms of the Ngurra Lodges (#30-36) & the Freshwater Villa (Villa# 28) and in the 3 Cottages it will fit in at least one, if not more, of the bedrooms. Do the Villas have TVs and DVD players?
Yes all Villas have TV’s and most of them have DVD players. Those that don’t have DVD players have smart TV’s so bring your flash drive!
Can I rent DVDs?
Yes, we have a number of DVD’s available at reception for all ages
Are the Villas Air Conditioned/ Heated?
All the villas have reverse cycle air-conditioning and most also have fans too.
Can I smoke in my villa or in the Resort?
Not in the villas but there are smoking areas & butt bins on the decks. Not in the camp kitchens or within 10 meters of the kids play areas. You can smoke on your site.
Questions about your Site Booking
Is my friend on the site beside me?
Check out the site number on the confirmation we emailed you, or give us a ring. We can’t guarantee the site you booked will be available but we will endeavour to do our best . Please make sure we know you are in a group so we can keep you in sites beside each other when available.
How many people can stay on a site?
Maximum number of adults on a site is 6. The cost per site is for 2 people.
How much are extra adults and kids?
For sites: $15 per extra person per night.
Do you have accessible facilities?
We have an accessible bathroom in amenity block 1. Please ask at reception for the door code.
Do you have a Family Bathroom?
Yes we have both a family bathroom and a baby’s bathroom. The family bathroom includes a full size bath. Please ask at reception for the door code or key.

What is the parking policy?
The Resort has a 1 car per booking policy. Your car always needs to fit within the boundary of your site. This may mean that you need a larger site or a smaller tarp! We also have a small number of paid extra parking spots within the resort. Email us if you have questions.
Do you have a Camp Kitchen? What does it include?
Yes we have 2 awesome Camp Kitchens:
• The larger one has a full size fridge, sinks, microwave, BBQ’s, hotplate, a toaster and a kettle
• The smaller one has a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, sinks, BBQ’s and camp ovens where you can plug your gas bottle in to.
• We also have a BBQ cabana near villa 28 that has a BBQ, prep bench and sink
Do you have plates / cups / utensils in the camp kitchen?
You do need to bring along your own cooking utensils, plates, cutlery etc.
Yes, we have 5 BBQ’s within the Resort for all guests to use.
I’ve got another car, will that fit on my site? Can I bring a trailer?
Everything you bring with you needs to fit within the boundaries of your site. You can either rent a paid parking spot or can leave the car at the entrance to the resort.
Do I need to bring a coaxial Aerial with me on an ensuite site?
No, we supply the lead to connect to the aerial
Can my friends come and visit for a cuppa?
Of course! If your friends have a number of children who are using the facilities in the Resort, they will have to pay a fee to enter. Due to the large number of guests in the Resort in the DEC/JAN school holidays it is at management discretion whether guests are allowed and there will be a charge for this.
