Putt Putt Golf

Sharkey came all the way from the Sydney Aquarium where he was home to the shark enclosure for many years. Now relocated to BIG4 South West Rocks he is the entrance and mouth of Sharkey’s Putt Putt. The Putt Putt features 9 holes and is lots of fun for all the family. Located near Sharkey’s is the playground with swings, climbing frame, surf rocker and spring-less trampoline for under 6 year olds.

Pool/Spa Cave

Rock inspired crystal water pool, spa cave and waterfall are all part of the pool complex. With plenty of sun lounges you can relax, read a book and take a dip when you need to. The spa is heated during the winter months (May – September) a great way to finish the day after a beautiful bush walk to ease those tired muscles. The pool area is certainly a relaxed zone and meeting place for guests.

Game Room

A great area for all ages. Featuring a big screen movie cinema, pool table, air hockey, table tennis and free play-station. A great hub to meeting new friends and some friendly rivalry in some competition games. We love seeing the play-offs between family members with the kids ganging up on mum and dad – so much fun!

Jumping Pillow

The jumping pillow will amaze you, this fitness and fun equipment is unique and often you will find children and adults playing together on the pillow all day long. It is also amazing to see how the kids can stay on the pillows for hours and hour and keep jumping and inventing new games. One of the unique things about BIG4 South West Rock’s jumping pillow is that it has a permanent roof over the top which allows play to happen even when it is raining. KIDS Zone (Under 7)

A specific Kids Zone is set up for the comfort of parents and fun for children 7 years and under. The area is under cover and includes lounges, jumping castle, cubby house, playground, board games, dress ups, colouring station, Nintendo Wii, 10 pin bowling, giant chess and giant checkers. An area too where you can bring a sandwich and have some lunch. Reading material for mums and dads, grab a coffee and come up and hang out with the kids and catch up on the daily news or maybe new recipes as to what you will cook for dinner.

Tennis

Game of tennis anyone? Half court tennis great for little ones to adults. Open from 8 am – 6 pm daily and free for all park patrons. All you need to do is book in a time at Reception. Balls and racquets are supplied.

Bush Walking

South West Rocks offers some awesome walks that offer enthusiasts many different experiences and opportunities for first hand encounters with our native flora and fauna. Marked trails lead the adventurer through coastal heath-land over rocky outcrops to isolated beaches or deep into rainforests.

Canoeing

Canoeing on the lagoon is at the base of the park and is a pastime popular with families and couples. The salt-water lagoon is a picturesque home to a variety of breeding and migratory birds. You will always see black swans and if you have a crab trap you may be even be lucky enough to bring home some dinner! The scenery is spectacular and the wildlife plentiful - Azure Kingfishers, different species of waterfowl, turtles, and of course, the fish. Canoes can be hired from Reception.

Bike Riding

South West Rocks is a great place to ride your bike. With dedicated bike paths that take you from the front of the park directly into town (2km). Either bring your bikes or hire a bike from reception and enjoy scenic South West Rocks by bike. Kids love bringing their bikes to BIG4 South West Rocks where they can hang out with friends and ride with each other which is always a fun summer time activity.
